Hi there! My name is Annabelle Hearne. I graduated from the University of Indianapolis in Spring 2022 and completed my pediatric physical therapy residency at Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare in Saint Paul, MN in August 2023. I am continuing to work as a Physical Therapist at Gillette Childrens. I am also an American College of Sports Medicine certified Personal Trainer and Exercise Physiologist. I have several years of experience working with children with cerebral palsy and have developed a passion for this population. 

The currently available research on physical activity in children with cerebral palsy demonstrates that these children are less active than their typically developing peers which may cause additional preventable health problems in their future. Therefore, I have developed this platform to provide education and resources for families of children with cerebral palsy and other motor disabilities, so that they can develop a physically active lifestyle to meet their child's specific needs. 

I hope that through this resource I am able to help families of and children with cerebral palsy, as they have blessed me with so much joy and developed my passion for physical therapy.
