Exercise Yourself.

Group 1

The below videos are for children who are walking without the assistance of a device.

Our Goal

Strive for no more than two hours a day sitting sedentary, such as sitting watching TV.

Watch this video for alternative positions to play, do homework, or screen time to increase activity in your daily routines.

Increase daily activity and improve balance by creating an obstacle course in your home!

Choose a hallway or room at home that can become your activity space. Create a routine of performing activities in that space.

Set goals and track your progress.

Find movements that your child can do successfully and incorporate them into a game to create a routine of fun activity.

Watch this video for an example of how to make UNO an active game and try it at home with games that you have available.

Go to the resources tab to print a copy of Active BINGO or an Activity Dice.
